SailPoint, a leader in identity and access management (IAM), has announced the integration of the SailPoint IdentityNow Password Management Service with the ServiceNow Password Reset feature. The integration enables ServiceNow customers to now offer their users a self-service option to automatically manage passwords across more than 80 on-premises and cloud-based applications - including Microsoft Active Directory, Office365, SAP and Salesforce – through a single interface. To help ServiceNow customers experience the benefits of this integration firsthand, SailPoint is allowing them to try the new integrated password management service for free for the first year. “The rapid adoption of cloud applications, combined with existing password management challenges for on-premises IT resources, has driven the help desk to its breaking point,” said Paul Trulove, vice president of product marketing at SailPoint. “By integrating the SailPoint IdentityNow Password Management Service into ServiceNow, we quickly address this problem by providing users with self-service password management for the most common enterprise applications, including cloud-based ones. This eliminates the need to visit multiple places or contact the help desk to reset or change passwords. We’re so confident that IdentityNow will show immediate value that we’re willing to extend the service, for free, to current ServiceNow customers.” To prove how effective SailPoint IdentityNow is, the company is extending ServiceNow customers free access to IdentityNow’s Password Management Service. They can select up to three applications from SailPoint’s extensive catalog of enterprise applications at no charge for the first year, and will also be given a free day of professional services to complete the deployment. In addition, SailPoint IdentityNow’s complementary IAM services - including single sign-on (SSO), access certification, and user onboarding/offboarding - can be seamlessly added to the ServiceNow password management project at any time. ServiceNow is one of the most common enterprise SaaS applications used by SailPoint’s customer base, which is made up of the world’s largest organizations. As such, SailPoint is committed to delivering identity governance, provisioning and access management capabilities to ServiceNow customers. The SailPoint IdentityNow Password Management Service’s certification for ServiceNow is in progress. The IdentityNow SSO Service was also certified.
